SHARE YOUR TOURETTES STORY

I’m a South Australian artist with Tourettes, on a journey to connect with others and explore the reality of living with tics. I’m also a Support Mentor with the Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia.

I’m looking for people in South Australia with Tourettes willing to be a part of a video project. I am wanting to do in-depth interviews and spend time with other people who also have Tourettes, interview them and capture a part of their lives and story.

I have received some funding this year from Carclew to travel around the state and meet others with Tourettes and develop an artistic response. This will be in the form of a documentary that will use artworks and animations to explore what life is like with Tourettes.

I am wanting to explore the social impacts of living with Tourettes, to explore my own disability, and the importance of community. This will have a particular focus on finding community and self-acceptance.

I am wanting to find people from across SA (from different locations, communities and with varied experiences with Tourettes) who would be willing to spend a day with me doing video interviews, making art, and capturing a part of their day-to-day life with Tourettes.

Please leave your details below so I can get back to you. I am looking to meet with a lot of people with a diverse range of experiences, so this form helps me keep everyone’s information and contact information together.
